Death Doulas, also called end of life doulas, are non-medical professionals who bring emotional, practical, and unbiased support and expertise to individuals and families who are planning for the final stages of life.
Death Doulas:
Bring invaluable knowledge about the dying process.
Provide comfort and compassion to the dying and their family members.
Foster open conversations about death and ensure an individual’s wishes and dignity are honored.
Complement the work of the family and other caregivers, including hospice providers.
Ultimately, we strive to help individuals live fully until the very last moment.

You can contact a death doula at any stage when you or a loved one is navigating the end of life process, or even earlier, to prepare for it. If a terminal diagnosis has been received, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible so we can begin creating quality care plans together.

Hospice:
Provide an invaluable interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, social workers, clergy, and more.
Administer medications, manages physical symptoms, and ensures comfort under a medical model of care.
Death Doulas:
Complement hospice care by focusing on holistic, non-medical needs.
Work together with the hospice team to enhance the personalized care experience and bridging gaps that hospice services may not address due to time constraints.
Do not provide medical interventions or administer treatments.

Services can be offered in person: at home, in the hospital, assisted living, or nursing home. I’m currently serving areas of Northern Massachusetts & Southern New Hampshire. Services are also offered virtually.

Pricing for all end of life services are often crafted in specific bundles depending on your unique needs but start at $75/hour.
