These are group-directed conversations about death with no agenda or themes. The objective of a Death Cafe is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'. Come with curiosity. Please note this is not a bereavement group.

What to expect: Rotating small group discussions with thought-provoking questions like:

• If you were to write your own obituary, what’s one thing you’d want to make sure is included?

• Have you considered eco-friendly burial options? If so, what appeals to you?

• Is there anything about death you find comforting or fascinating?

• Is there a ritual or tradition you keep alive in honor of an ancestor or loved one?

• And more!

The intention:

• Get comfortable talking about death

• Meet interesting people and gain new perspectives
